Mildred Colvin
The painting
by the late Mildred Colvin depicts a gathering of local citizens in front of the
Old Courthouse on the Greensburg Square. The Chain Gang was chosen by
the
American Watercolor Society to be included for exhibit in 1994. It was one
of 100 paintings selected from submissions by 517 artists from 39 states and
Puerto Rico. This work represents the artist
in an impressionistic approach to the subject, focusing more on light and
composition than detail. These numbered prints are released in a limited
edition of 1000. Print size is 19x22 - image size 15.75x20. Retail
price is $40. Prints are available framed or unframed, at Glover Station
Antique Mall on the Greensburg Square and at Colvin's Frame Shop or by mail
